With this innovative new programme, set up in partnership with French boatbuilder Excess Catamarans, Dream Yacht Sales aims to meet a growing market need for long-term sailing adventures.

Dream Yacht Sales launches Dream Odyssey, a programme of round-the-world voyages

Dream Odyssey allows new owners to realise their dream of escaping and sailing the world's most beautiful waters, while benefiting from the expertise of Dream Yacht's staff, particularly the technical assistance and support offered at the 40 Dream Yacht bases located around the world.

According to Dan Lockyer, Deputy CEO of Dream Yacht, "We have seen a growing desire and dream among our charter customers and future boat owners to sail around the world. The creation of our Dream Odyssey offer therefore seems an obvious extension of our charter and sales activities, while capitalising on our extensive network of bases and staff. New boat owners will also be able to realise their dreams of sailing around the world, easily and stress-free."

The Dream Odyssey programme is available to all new buyers of 37-foot Excess 11 or 46-foot Excess 14 catamarans at Dream Yacht. Ultramodern, lightweight, popular with many sailors and ideal for long voyages, Excess catamarans are delivered fully customised to the owner's layout and equipment preferences, and designed with practical comfort and exceptional performance in mind.

Buyers are also supported throughout the purchase process by a Dream Yacht consultant, who provides expert advice on customisation, financing and commissioning.

The real bonus of the programme is the total freedom to choose the ports of call and the sailing rhythm, which is 100% personalised throughout the voyage.

Five round-the-world itineraries are available to Dream Odyssey participants, either continuously or in stages, offering access to the world's most remote anchorages, ocean or canal crossings, etc. In short, there are many playgrounds to choose from, including French Polynesia, the Tonga Islands for whale watching, Australia's Great Barrier Reef and the Caribbean, to name but a few. If required, Dream Yacht will be able to provide support at every stage, with a team of experienced technicians who will facilitate expert technical assistance ready to intervene if needed at any stage of the voyage.

In addition, for owners wishing to step into the shoes of professional sailors, participation in the ARC (Atlantic Rally for Cruisers) is also an option on the Dream Odyssey programme, allowing participants to experience the ‘must-do’ transatlantic crossing from the Canary Islands to St Lucia.

At the end of their Dream Odyssey cruise, owners will have the option of reselling their yacht through Dream Yacht's pre-owned yacht sales programme, or making it available for charter through Dream Yacht's numerous management charter programmes. In this way, they can receive a source of income while continuing to enjoy their catamaran all year round. The perfect combination of usefulness and pleasure.
