Franck Roy yachts seduce the Scandinavian countries

Since its takeover in November 2019, the Chantier Naval Franck Roy continues to expand and has its first dealer in Finland.

The company based in La Boissière des Landes in the Vendée, taken over by the young entrepreneur Romuald Tuffery, is staying on course despite the headwinds linked to the Covid 19 pandemic.

From the outset, his ambitions were clear: to perpetuate the know-how of his workshop while developing its international presence. "These exceptional boats, built over 20 years ago by Franck Roy, the founder, have, in my opinion, their rightful place on the world's waterways. The know-how of our goldsmiths is rare and much sought-after, especially internationally" explains Romuald Tuffery on Yachting Art Magazine.

For several months, in parallel with the current orders, the shipyard's teams have been working on the creation of a dealer network in Europe and around the world.

International priority for the Franck Roy Shipyard

The efforts are bearing fruit as a first partnership has just been signed.

It is a Finnish dealer, Aquastore, based a few kilometres from Helsinki. Aquastore now has the exclusive right to sell Franck Roy on its national territory.

Romuald Tuffery says: "Erkki, our Finnish partner, immediately saw the potential of our boats in his country. Moreover, he already has several interested customers. This development will allow us to make our boats visible internationally and thus contribute to the conservation of know-how."

Bright prospects for Aquastore

"Aquastore is pleased to become Franck Roy's reseller in Finland" concludes Erkki Kaurinkoski, Aquastore's Managing Director. "We immediately realised that this yard was producing something unique. We are particularly interested in smaller boats that fit well into our range and do not compete with our current Jeanneau and Grand Soleil brands. At the moment there are no competitors selling such boats in Finland and we see great potential."

Aquastore will represent the Franck Roy shipyard from August 13th, 14th, 15th and 16th at the Helsinki Boat-Afloat Show.

Note that the Franck Roy Shipyard will be present at the Cannes Yachting Festival - for the very first time - with two yachts, a Solenn 27 and a Solenn 32 exhibited at Port Canto.
