Madintec announces the arrival of Paolo Serio as Sales and Marketing Director. This appointment marks a strategic step for the company, strengthening the management team and opening up new prospects for growth in the yachting market, following a major success in the world of ocean racing.
With a wealth of experience in sales and marketing development, notably as Product Director at Dufour Yachts and Sales Director at Dream Yacht Worldwide, Paolo Serio brings a dynamism and expertise that will greatly benefit Madintec.
"We are delighted to welcome Paolo SERIO to our team. His background and vision will be invaluable assets for our strategic development in the yachting market," says Matthieu Robert, CEO of Madintec.
Having established a leading position thanks to its new-generation MADBrain autopilot, adopted by top skippers such as François Gabart and Yannick Bestaven, Madintec is setting out to conquer the global market.
Building on this success in the world of competition, the Lorient-based company is now ready to extend its range to a wider customer base. This expansion is part of an international development strategy aimed at making Madintec a global benchmark in marine electronics and innovation.
"I am delighted to be joining the Madintec team. Madintec is widely recognised in the world of ocean racing thanks to the talent of its staff and the reliability of its products. The technology is relevant and ready to be deployed on a large scale in the international yachting market. What's more, current developments such as the augmented electronic steering wheel are revolutionary. We have everything we need to grow rapidly," explains Paolo SERIO.
"Our aim is to democratise access to cutting-edge technology for all boaters, whether amateurs or professionals. The reliability, installation compatibility and competitive price of the MADBrain driver enable us to make it accessible to all sailing enthusiasts," continues Matthieu Robert, CEO of Madintec.
Other promising innovations are contributing to this dynamic, such as the augmented electronic steering wheel recently successfully tested on Koesio, Erwan Le Roux's Ocean Fifty. Developed in collaboration with the MerConcept and Mobius teams, this new feature offers unprecedented piloting subtleties and opens up an exciting avenue of development for pleasure boats.
