“The USA is one of our most important markets and we opened our own offices right here in Fort Lauderdale about a year ago. As a result, attending FLIBS alongside the yachting industry giants, many of them our customers, is an absolute must on our event calendar,” said Alessandro Gallifuoco, Vice President of CMC Marine USA, to Yachting Art Magazine. “The North American market is a rapidly expanding for CMC Marine and while until a short while ago the main focus was on refits, we are recently reporting excellent results in new builds too”.
At stand 707 in the Superyacht Pavilion at the Fort Lauderdale International Boat Show, a STAB 25 model in the Waveless family will therefore be on show alongside a working Stabilis Electra HS60.
STAB 25 is a model in the Waveless family of ultra compact electric stabilizers for yachts 12 meters long and over, created to solve the problem of pitching and yawing. Waveless, which features four models of STAB stabilizers and four models of TRIM intruders, made its international debut at the Cannes Yachting Festival, where it aroused extraordinary interest, while during the Genoa Boat Show it won the 2019 Design accessory award by UCINA in collaboration with ADI - Association for Industrial Design and IBI - International Boat Industry.
HS60, on the other hand, is part of the High Speed System range, an evolution of the Stabilis Electra System for planing yachts 23 meters long and up, with optimised fin profiles and new electronics that translate into reduced dimensions, lighter weight and improved performance.
The American boat show will therefore provide an opportunity for CMC Marine to exhibit its products to an increasingly broad and heterogeneous customer base - also in view of the recent signing of new agreements with foreign dealers - and further strengthen the company’s presence in an area of vital importance on the world yachting scenario.
