Jeanneau DB 43 - Jeanneau enters the luxury day boat market

2022 will be an important year for the Vendée-based shipyard Jeanneau, a brand of the Bénéteau Group, with the launch of a brand new, highly anticipated powerboat: the Jeanneau DB 43.

The Jeanneau DB 43 is no ordinary model for Jeanneau: it is a model of conquest, which should enable the shipyard to enter a new market, that of luxury dayboats, a relatively recent market that is experiencing strong growth and from which the Bénéteau Group has been absent until now.

To successfully enter this strategic segment, Jeanneau has opted for a crossover model, straddling the Express-Cruiser and the Opens, in order to offer total versatility - allowing the owner to enjoy his or her boat, both for day cruising and for longer cruises - and a style directly inspired by the luxury automobile.

In this BoatScopy Report produced during the 2021 Paris Boat Show, Martin Meyer, in charge of this project at Jeanneau, tells us more about the Jeanneau DB 43, whose name is a nod to one of the shipyard's legendary models: the famous Jeanneau DB 33...

Note that the Jeanneau DB 43 will be built in France, in Les Herbiers.
