Yachting and family sailing - The German shipyard HanseYachts, the world's number two in the monohull sailing yacht market through its Hanse, Dehler and Moody brands, is continuing to renew its Hanse range of family cruisers, in partnership with French naval architect Berret-Racoupeau, with the Hanse 510, Hanse 460 and Hanse 410.

The Hanse 360 is an additional model to the range, positioned between the Hanse 348 and Hanse 388. It adopts the highly sophisticated naval architecture of previous models designed by Olivier Racoupeau for the German shipyard, with large living spaces and a deck layout that facilitates manoeuvring.

The German shipyard is highlighting the unprecedented habitability of a 37-foot family yacht, as well as good performance under sail, thanks in particular to the work done on the hull, with narrow crossbeams and fore and aft chines that allow the yacht to be heeled while offering a large interior volume.

The Hanse 360 has two steering wheels, a single rudder, which we think is a very good choice, and German-style manoeuvring, with the helm aft, which frees up the descent: note the raised coaming winches, allowing easy passage of the sheets to the pianos. Passengers on a 37-foot yacht will appreciate being able to sit comfortably in the cockpit, without disturbing the skipper during manoeuvres.

Two types of rig are offered by the shipyard, a classic rig and a performance rig, to suit everyone, with a furling mainsail also available (see technical data sheet below).

The interior layout offers 2 to 3 double cabins, with 1 to 2 heads, one of which can incorporate the owner's cabin in the forepeak.

The modern interior design, taken from other Berret-Racoupeau creations, is by Isabelle Racoupeau.

The Hanse 360 will be presented at the 2024 Cannes Yachting Festival. Its price excluding VAT is 185,000 euros, or 222,000 euros including VAT, excluding options.....
