As a result of this partnership, the Japanese engine manufacturer will supply the majority of the engines powering the Corse brand boats.
Honda Marine, the marine engine division of the world's leading engine manufacturer, has announced a new industrial partnership with the Corsican Mediterranean boatbuilder FANALE MARINE to strengthen its national deployment and services.
The Fanale Marine shipyard offers turnkey boats by fitting Honda equipment and engines directly at its Corsican shipyard. This agreement means that dealers and future buyers of RIBs will be able to benefit from reliable and safe equipment that is ready to sail.
Present in Europe for 60 years and a pioneer in the marine sector, the Japanese brand is consolidating its network of manufacturers. Corsica is a favoured destination for pleasure boating, a dynamic breeding ground where tourism is high and the use of pleasure boats is higher than the average for yachtsmen in mainland France.
Against this backdrop, the two companies want to offer quality packages to users and build a base for growth and development by drawing jointly on the local expertise of the Corsican factory for one, and the marine expertise of the world's leading engine manufacturer for the other.
Fanale Marine is a relatively new shipyard, created in 2016, and positioned in the 6 to 10 metre semi-rigid pleasure boat market.
Like Honda Marine, the Corsican brand aims to offer a reliable, high-quality range of boats for frequent use. Created and assembled in Pietrosella, near Ajaccio, the Fanale Marine range benefits from the experience of its Italian partners, world leaders in the manufacture of Hypalon hulls and floats.
The island manufacturer pays close attention to detail, and each boat, from its layout to the colour of its floats and upholstery, meets the unique needs of each yachtsman.
The partnership offers a complete range of Fanale Marine boats, built and assembled in France with Honda outboard engines.
