Designed for configurations ranging from single engines to quintuple installations, the wireless control retains all the features of the Helm Master EX joystick. It also incorporates the autopilot and safety features, including the man-overboard (MOB) function. With one-handed control, captains can adjust course, speed or depth while keeping the other hand free to handle mooring lines or fenders.

The control introduces several practical improvements. Man overboard fobs automatically trigger the boat to slow down or stop when a user falls into the water. Additional controls allow you to adjust the anchor, trolling speed and even the bow thruster. A joystick hold function, inspired by cruise control, effortlessly maintains course and trajectory.

The device is easily integrated thanks to an on-board charging station with a USB-C port. Connectivity with Yamaha applications such as StayPoint, DriftPoint and FishPoint remains fully assured, enhancing remote control capabilities.

With this innovation, Yamaha confirms its commitment to simplifying the lives of boaters by offering them greater freedom of movement on board and increased safety. Previewed in Cannes, the Helm Master EX Wireless Control is part of a trend towards increasingly intuitive and assisted boat steering.
