The Scarab 195 Open is a small open hull unit with central console distinguished by an infrequent characteristic: a jet engine!!

This original choice makes it possible to make tight turns on the water and guarantees an excellent handling of the boat. It allows shallow water navigation (draught of the boat 30 cm) while offering a high degree of safety due to its absence of apparent helix.

This boat was designed by the youngest designers of the Scarab brand, which makes it a model that wants to be adapted to a millennial customer (young adults born in the 1990s).

Equipped with modern sports lines, the interior fittings are not to be outdone, with a sun bath at the front and a deck that allows easy circulation on board. A noteworthy detail is that the swim platform can be tilted to open the cockpit onto the sea which is an ideal device for swimming, fishing, or for the practice of various water sports (wakeboarding)...

Many options are available - a feature of the American brand, subsidiary of the French Bénéteau - to adapt this model to aspirations of the boaters: the fishermen can benefit from the “Fish” version, which has several fish pots and rod holders; for nautical sports, improvements are proposed in the cruise control, the traction tower, or the ballast system that make it possible to increase the wake; finally, more "family" options are also eventually available, such as the cockpit table, chemical WC or some additional cushions.

The Scarab 195 Open reaches a maximum speed of 36.5 knots for an average fuel consumption of 34 liters per hour at a cruising speed of 23.5 knots. Its entry price including VAT is 38,864 euros (with a 250 horsepower Rotax).
