The International Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte cancelled

Yesterday, the organizers of the International Multihull Boat Show made their decision.

The International Multihull Boat Show in La Grande Motte cancelled

Scheduled from April 28 to May 2 in La Grande Motte, the 2021 edition of the International Multihull Show will finally not take place, due to the health context, between international travel restrictions, partial confinements and the beginning of the mass vaccination campaign.

Already postponed by a few weeks from its traditional position in the nautical calendar, the International Multihull Show was to be the first European boat show since the Genoa Boat Show.

Unfortunately, circumstances decided otherwise, and one can imagine the great disappointment of the organization team, the yachting professionals and the La Grande Motte urban area, for which the show is a flagship event.

Under these circumstances, the French nautical calendar should therefore begin in September, with the Cannes boat shows - which could have changed organizer by then - then La Rochelle, before the Paris boat show next December.

Let's recall that it was in 2010 that the Multihull Boat Show was born from a real need for catamaran and trimaran professionals to present their boat offers and services in a privileged way.

Initially organized in April between Lorient and La Grande Motte, the "Multihull" has definitely won the Mediterranean after its first editions.
