The Excess 14 is a sailing pleasure catamaran from the Excess Catamarans shipyard, a brand of the Bénéteau Group. The Excess 14 was announced at the beginning of 2022, for an official launch in September of the same year, on the occasion of the Cannes Yachting Festival.

In the Excess catamaran range, the Excess 14 is positioned between the Excess 12 and Excess 15, within a range that includes 4 models, with the Excess 11.

A hedonistic catamaran like the other models in the range, the Excess 14's mission is to provide pleasure at the helm and sensations on board a user-friendly model, clearly geared towards millenials.

From this Excess range, the Excess 14 takes up the innovations and stylistic differentiations that appeared on the Excess 11 - length of the muzzle, style of the hulls, mast forward of the saloon - but goes even further in terms of naval architecture, with asymmetrical rear hulls, a first on a pleasure catamaran, a choice that greatly reduces the number of hull returns under the nacelle 

The overall length of the Excess 14 varies from 13.97m to 15.99m, depending on the options chosen, for a hull length of 13.34m. The beam of the Excess 14 is 7.87m and its mini-maxi light weight ranges from 11.7 tons to 18.3 tons.

The Excess 14's draft is 1.48m, for an air draft of 19.78m.

A catamaran dedicated to the pleasure of sailing, the Excess 14 is proposed with 2 types of rigs, a standard version offering a total sail area of 118m2 upwind, and a Pulse Line version offering 134m2 of sail area upwind.

The motorization of the Excess 14 is entrusted to 2 inboard engines of 45hp in series or 57hp in option. The fuel capacity is 2x200l, and the water capacity is 300 liters.

The Excess 14 offers 6 to 8 berths, or 3 to 4 double cabins.
