SCOOP - Bali Catamarans lowers all its prices and increases its manufacturer's warranty

The opening of the Cannes 2024 Yachting Festival is the occasion for a major announcement in the boating and yachting industry, with a price cut for the entire range of Bali Catamarans pleasure catamarans.

SCOOP - Bali Catamarans lowers all its prices and increases its manufacturer's warranty

This morning, at the opening of the 2024 edition of the Cannes Yachting Festival, Bali Catamarans made a major announcement, which is a step in the right direction for yachtsmen and charter companies.

The Bali Catamarans shipyard, which stands out for its particularly extensive range of highly innovative catamarans, has announced a price reduction for all its models, both owner-operated and charter versions.

Catana Group takes note of disinflation, and applies it to its prices

This price cut, the only one of its kind in the yachting market to date, comes against a backdrop of disinflation and a return to normality in the supply chain.

Over the last 3 years, yacht prices, like those in other sectors of the economy, have risen sharply as a result of widespread inflation following the post-Covid recovery and the war in Ukraine, compounded by endemic supply disruptions.

In recent months, with disinflation confirmed and supply tensions having eased considerably, Bali Catamarans has decided to lower the prices of its boats, to the benefit of yachtsmen.

Lower prices and a 3-year manufacturer's warranty

At the same time as these price cuts for all its models, Bali Catamarans is changing its manufacturer's warranty policy, from 2 to 3 years for models sold to private owners, a strong move by the shipyard to emphasise its confidence in the quality of its models.

We'll be coming back to these two major announcements shortly in a forthcoming Eco Yachting video report. The price cuts concern Bali catamarans delivered from 1 January 2025 onwards....

Decryption - With this integration of current disinflation into its price list, Bali Catamarans is playing the game of transparency. It allows owners and charter companies to benefit from more attractive prices on all the shipyard's models, without any deterioration in the offer, simply by taking advantage of the fall in the price of components and raw materials observed on the market and negotiated by the shipyard. For charter companies, the fall in the price of catamarans will be an opportunity to pass on this reduction in their own rates, making the prices of charter weeks more attractive. A virtuous circle for the entire industry.
