Jean-Paul Chapeleau takes full responsibility for Industrial Operations and Development of the Bénéteau Group's Boat Division
In this context, the French group, whose head office is based in Saint-Gilles Croix de Vie, in the Vendée region of France, has just announced the reorganization of its industrial operations and the development of its Boat division (the group is also present in the leisure housing sector: bungalows).
The organization of the Boat Division's General Management is changing, with the creation of a unified Industrial Operations and Development Department, headed by Jean-Paul Chapeleau, the former boss of the Jeanneau and Prestige yards.
This organization replaces the previous dual organization, previously headed by Jean-Paul Chapeleau and Christophe Caudrelier.
The General Management in charge of Industrial Operations and Development now covers all activities in all territories of operations (Europe and North America), thus confirming the desire to manage the Group by major global or geographic functions and no longer by legal entities, in order to achieve maximum synergies and consistency.
As a result of this change, Christophe Caudrelier ceased to exercise his duties as a corporate officer on 3 June 2020.
Jérôme de Metz, Chairman and CEO of Groupe Bénéteau states: "I would like to warmly thank Christophe for his commitment and for his contribution to the development of the Group and the Boat Division over these 6 years. I wish him every success in the pursuit of his career".
At the same time, Bruno Thivoyon joins the Executive Committee as Group Chief Financial Officer.
It should be noted that Groupe Bénéteau will be unveiling its strategic plan on 9th July next.
