It is the world leader in the marine industry, the American group Brunswick Corporation, which will be flying the flag for the industry at the Consumer Electronics Show, presenting its latest technological innovations, which will become increasingly popular in the years to come on the group's future pleasure boats.

For David Foulkes, CEO of Brunswick Corporation, CES in Las Vegas is a unique opportunity to showcase the modernity of the yachting industry, as he explains to ActuNautique Yachting Art: "We are delighted to be exhibiting again at the Consumer Electronics Show in 2024. CES is part of our DNA and provides an ideal global backdrop for us to unveil new technologies and highlight synergies across our company's ecosystem of products and experiences.  Brunswick is uniquely positioned in the industry due to the breadth of its marine product lines and new technologies, as well as its deep presence in many elements of the marine ecosystem. The Marina of the Future concept demonstrates Brunswick's amazing portfolio in this holistic, near-future context."

Among the new products highlighted by Brunswick at CES in Las Vegas are:

Autonomous boat:
Brunswick will showcase its Boston Whaler, 405 Conquest, featuring an autonomous docking system that uses multiple cameras and precise thrust and position control of its three 600hp Mercury Marine V12 outboard engines - a CES 2023 Innovation Award winner.  In addition, Brunswick will once again feature an immersive simulator, allowing visitors to experience and interact with an animated marine environment and dock a boat using automatic docking technology.

Connected boat:
Brunswick will also showcase several of its connected solutions, including C-Zone Mobile, VesselView Mobile and other connected applications that allow boaters to stay in touch and interact with their boat remotely, as well as benefit from enhanced safety features such as those featured in the CES Innovation Award-winning 1st Mate Safety and Security system.

Electric motors:
For the first time, Brunswick will showcase its five Mercury Marine Avator electric outboard motors - the 7.5e, 20e, 35e, 75e and 110e models. The 20e and 35e models won the CES 2024 Innovation Award.  The electrification exhibition will also feature Brunswick's Veer V13 multi-purpose boat, powered by an Avator electric motor, as well as four different FliteBoard models, highlighting the diversity of the exciting Flite eFoil product range.

Easier navigation:
Brunswick will also be exhibiting a Sea Ray SLX 280 Outboard, a luxury outboard featuring Mercury's most advanced V10 outboard motors and incorporating the latest technology from the Navico Group, such as Simrad's NSX Ultrawide display which shows engine data and gauges on the same screen as the navigation, a combo to make the steering experience easier and more intuitive.

Boat sharing :
Brunswick will also be showcasing its sharing economy concept, with the Freedom Boat Club allowing people to use a boat without the inconvenience of owning it.

"Our presence at CES will demonstrate that Brunswick is committed to sustainability, offers multiple access points to boating for every situation and stage of life, and brings unique, cutting-edge, consumer-focused technology to the table," concludes David Foulkes.
