Yachting and boating - The Grand Pavois 2024 is an opportunity for Quicksilver, the powerboat brand of Venture Group (Brunswick), to present a world first, the Quicksilver 705 Open.

Building on the success of its Open series, Quicksilver Boats unveiled its brand new Quicksilver 705 Open at the opening of the Grand Pavois boat show.

The Quicksilver 705 Open replaces the Quicksilver 675 Open. It embodies the new design language of the range, with one objective: to offer boaters safety, versatility and comfort, at the best price.

‘The newly launched 705 Open sets the standard in its class as the perfect family dayboat offering all the features for fishing, cruising and watersports,’ explains Alexis Fléchier, Managing Director of Venture Europe Group on ActuNautique. ‘ We're delighted to be officially launching this boat in La Rochelle, and the initial feedback from consumers has already been incredibly positive. We look forward to building on this momentum and redefining our category with this exciting launch."

Designed with direct input from the brand's customers, the Quicksilver 705 Open features :

• A modern, redesigned console, integrated with a stylish windscreen and best-in-class technology, including an optional NSX 7‘ Cruise or 9’ electronics package.
• Useful adaptations for fishing: a new T-top with integrated rod holders and numerous storage options for easy on-board storage of fishing gear.
• Improvements to the standard equipment: black bow, windscreen and centre rails as standard.
• New features to enhance versatility: The cockpit is equipped with a full-width rear bench seat that can easily be converted into a dining area, or a social space by swivelling the pilot and co-pilot seats.
• Large swimming platform: Allows you to get in and out of the water easily and safely.

In terms of design, Quicksilver's new styling language is distinguished by the incorporation of a hull ribbon down the middle of the boat and stripes to match the Open's flagship model, the 805 Open.
