It's a worldwide launch that's great to see, and one that demonstrates, if proof were needed, just how important the La Rochelle boat show is in the global boat show calendar.

Bayliner, one of the flagship brands of Venture Group, a subsidiary of Brunswick, the world leader in yachting and pleasure craft (Mercury, Boston Whaler, Sea Ray, Bayliner, Quicksilver, Navan... ), is presenting its brand-new V20 Series at the Port des Minimes from 1 to 6 October, including the Bayliner V20 (bowrider, i.e. with a front cockpit in the outboard version) and Bayliner V20i (bowrider, i.e. with a front cockpit in the inboard version).

Replacing the VR5 Bowrider series, the V20 series offers an elegant new hull with a deep V hull shape for good sea passage, a unique deck layout and top-of-the-range features and functions, available in both outboard and inboard versions.

Alexis Fléchier, Managing Director of Venture Group Europe, explains the new model to ActuNautique.com: ‘ Bayliner's new V20 series has a lot to offer, and our team of engineers has designed stunning new styling, functionality and features into this new model, while maintaining its excellent value for money. The V20 will definitely set new standards in its range ‘.

The development of the V20 series has been based on an in-depth study of the expectations of boaters looking for a boat in the 6-metre segment, seeking pleasure, relaxation and adventure at a competitive price, without compromising on comfort, quality or performance.

The main features of this model, as highlighted by the manufacturer, include

  • Elegant design: A sculpted hull with sleek, sporty lines and an elegant wraparound glass windscreen, in a very balanced, modern design.
  • A spacious layout: Large cockpit entrance at the stern and large bathing platforms for safe and easy boarding and access in and out of the water.
  • Versatility of use: A versatile cockpit for cruising, relaxing and dining, and a user-friendly bow that can be converted into a sun lounge or second dining area.
  • Maximum storage: a host of practical and impressive storage capacities from bow to stern, including in-floor storage, long under-seat storage, floor hatch, lockable glovebox, port-side console storage and under-seat storage in the bow.
  • Technology-focused design: intuitive on-board features, including inductive phone chargers, VesselView link and Simrad GO9 display.

It's worth noting that the V20 series features increased fuel capacity, overall length and maximum capacity.
