Finnmaster unveils two new Grandezza Outboard models for 2025

Finnish shipyard Finnmaster Boats is expanding its Grandezza range – positioned to compete with the Bénéteau Antares and Jeanneau Merry Fisher – with two new models: the 37 Outboard and the 30 Outboard. These launches mark a significant milestone for the manufacturer, which is offering models equipped with Mercury outboard motors for the first time.

Finnmaster Boats, which has been in business for nearly 35 years and is one of the few Finnish shipyards to design and manufacture its boats exclusively in-house, chose its annual dealer meeting in Tanum, Sweden, to unveil two flagship models: the Grandezza 37 Outboard and the Grandezza 30 Outboard. These boats symbolise a new direction for the brand, as they mark the introduction of Mercury outboard engines, a choice that changes the technical and aesthetic approach of the range.

The Grandezza 37 OB is the flagship model. With its contemporary lines, it combines a spacious cockpit with interior fittings designed for comfortable cruising. Large windows maximise natural light, while the layout accommodates several cabins and a saloon optimised for life on board. The outboard motorisation, available in a twin Mercury configuration, provides greater manoeuvrability, lower maintenance costs and the ability to adapt to different sailing programmes. This model is therefore ideal for boaters looking for a vessel that is both family-friendly and high-performance.

More compact, the Grandezza 30 OB retains the aesthetic codes of its predecessor while adapting them to a more accessible format. The open deck facilitates movement, the cockpit is designed to be modular so that it can be quickly converted from a relaxation area to a social space, and the interior offers a bright cabin and efficient storage solutions. Its single or twin Mercury outboard motor, depending on the version, guarantees balanced performance, suitable for both fast coastal trips and longer cruises for two or a small family.

These two new models mark an important milestone for the Grandezza line. The use of outboard engines is in line with a fundamental trend in European boating, which is seeing this type of propulsion gradually become the norm on medium to large boats. The flexibility of installation, improved performance and simplified maintenance are attracting more and more boat owners, and Finnmaster is clearly positioning its models in line with this trend.

Previewed to dealers from Europe, the Middle East and Asia, the Grandezza 37 OB and 30 OB have attracted considerable interest. They will be available to the general public at the next Cannes Yachting Festival in September 2025, an ideal setting to confirm their reception by the international market and illustrate the new direction taken by Finnmaster.
