New Models 2025 - Bali 5.2, a 52-foot catamaran that breaks the mould

Boating, yachting and multihulls - With the launch of the Bali 5.2, to be unveiled at the 2025 Cannes Yachting Festival, Catana Group is introducing a brand new model to its range, just a few months after the release of the Bali 5.8. Never before has the shipyard offered a 52-foot catamaran, a size that now becomes a milestone between the more compact models and the flagship units. This new model reflects the manufacturer's ability to quickly adapt its offering to market trends, introducing features rarely found on the same boat.

Bali 5.2: a new model in its category

The Bali 5.2 retains the brand's hallmarks – the tilt-and-turn door, the full-length foredeck and the front door connecting the saloon and cockpit – but takes the logic of optimising space even further. With up to 16 berths, it is the first catamaran in its category to offer such a variety of layouts: 3, 4, 5 or 6 cabins, with triple aft cabins, separate toilets and showers, and options for the crew. This modularity, designed for both family cruising and chartering, is one of the model's distinguishing features.

Bali 5.2: a space concept that is setting the standard in the market

The forward deck, which was controversial when it was introduced by Bali, is now widely used by the competition, with a gradual reduction in trampolines on recent catamarans. On the 5.2, it is a real additional living space, dedicated to meals, relaxation and circulation. Connected directly to the saloon by a front door, it facilitates movement and illustrates the ‘inside-outside’ philosophy that distinguishes the brand.

Bali 5.2: innovations for comfort and conviviality

Designed by the Piaton-Bercault firm, the interior emphasises everyday comfort: a U-shaped galley equipped with a double-door refrigerator, a saloon with an XXL table for 12 people, and a lounge bench complete the living space. The chart table incorporates the latest automated energy management and on-board systems, transforming the navigation station into a veritable office overlooking the sea.

Outside, the modular rooftop accommodates sun loungers, a navigation area and a helmsman's bench integrated into the table, creating a panoramic terrace designed for conviviality. The aft deck, equipped with an optional hydraulic platform, transforms into a beach club, reinforcing the catamaran's multifunctional vocation.

Bali 5.2: Performance inherited from Catana

Under sail, the Bali 5.2 is equipped with a 70 m² genoa and a 94 m² square-topped mainsail, with the option of adding a 105 m² Code 0. For windless days, Yanmar offers engines up to 115 horsepower per side. This balance between comfort and performance remains faithful to the Catana heritage of this sailboat designed for long-distance cruising.

Bali Catamarans: A strategy of continuous innovation

With more than fifteen models launched in eleven years, Bali is pursuing a strategy of sustained innovation. The Bali 5.2 confirms this dynamic by tackling a market segment previously unexplored by the brand. For Catana Group, based in Canet-en-Roussillon and with five production sites in France, Tunisia and Portugal, this is a new milestone in its international growth.
